Silent doesn't live for a long time here. He appeared suddenly, with a prophecy that the king Nieve and his wife are gonna have one and only son, who will become a tyrant. The queen doesn't take this seriously, but Nieve keeped an eye on Silent to see if that weird dragon seriously can see the future. But Silent disappeared couple of days later. Months later, the queen, as it was in the prophecy, lays an single egg, but it takes her life to give birth. Mourning king sees that as bad omen, and then Silent returned.
He was ready for king's anger, but nothing like that happened. Nieve spends a lot of time talking with Silent, about his abilities and why he cannot foresee death. Silent becomes an important member of king's staff, lived in a castle and being friends with the king himself. However, it all ended when Azrael was hatched.
Silent sees the evil of that hatchling from the very beginning. But for Nieve, his son was the only thing that remains of the queen. Silent steps back, moved out of the castle and quietly observes what future brings.
