The only child produced by the Witch’s Heart Maelwas and the Chaos anomaly, subject Urutoramarin was taken from its parents at an early age for experimentation. It seemed to miss its parents and showed normal hatchling behavior, confirming its sentience. Its body was only partially liquefied and the Witch’s Heart gemstone formed on the inside of its head instead of heart due to its misplaced organs. After two weeks in containment, it escaped and has not been seen since.

Uruto sidled its way into the Laospí Clan, moving from silent follower to fringe scavenger once the clan was sure he wasn't malicious. He is a curiously charismatic, mysterious figure with enough self-confidence, or cluelessness, to act without concern for others. Dacha and Dospat meet him without pretense and the three of them have made an aloof, yet trusting friend group. Uruto spends most of its time in lessons with the hatchling teachers, who are in the process of learning more about it and what it wants. Otherwise, it wanders the clan grounds or tags along with Dacha on his fix-it jobs. It has shown itself to have a surprising amount of handyman knowledge when it's not getting stuck in something. Sometimes it watches experiments Alii is performing, sitting perfectly erect with its head tilting back and forth as if trying to remember or understand.

Urutoramarin's abilities are still unknown, but his Witch's Heart occasionally bubbles and glows within his skull loud enough for near bystanders to hear. When this happens, he ceases cognitive function for a short time and simply asks for "Mom," as if a child. It is unknown who this mother figure is-- perhaps his biological one, or the Plaguebringer, or some imprinted scientist from his infant home.
Regardless, the effects of his Heart are random to all but him. This animated collection of mundane objects pictured is one such result: it simply dragged itself together behind Uruto after one of these instances and has been eerily following him ever since, scissor blades glinting over the sound of the rustling parchment. 		42683.png
