Chronicle was the first to receive a letter, a letter promising her beauty. At the time, she was naught but a Mirror, shunned for how striking she was. Her colors were odd, making her stick out and an easy target for bullies. She was never part of a pack, and was born all alone. But everything changed when a letter bearing the symbol of the Arcanist came to her, appearing from thin air. Taking it, she saw it was addressed to her. Shocked that someone would send her something, she opened it with haste. She read it carefully, and blinked. "A queen of Absolute Beauty? Wanting me?" she said; it was too good to be true! Nonetheless, she had to try. She flew all the way to where the letter said she should go, stopping when she spotted the one who sent it: Asa. The Skydancer queen greeted Chronicle with joy. "Hello, Chronicle. I see you are here for beauty... yes?" she cooed, and the Mirror nodded. "Y-Yes your Majesty! What must I do to gain it?" "Oh... nothing much~ All you must do is bow down to me and my Beauty, and you will soon be granted said beauty! Do you accept, dearest Chronicle?" Chronicle said yes without hesitation, and she never regretted her decision; now she is powerful and elegant, feared and respected. She took the role of being her queen's royal advisor, and makes sure everything in Beauty's gracious empire is running smoothly. She even visits other kingdoms to make sure Asa's letter have reached them... |
