★★★ CLAN
At first glance, one might not believe the Footfalls of Wind are indeed a Wind flight clan, for they are far from being stereotypically carefree and joyful. In fact, past skirmishes with other clans have left them wary of outsiders, their watchful gaze following everything and everyone coming close to their border. Many wounds are far from healed, even if they may not be visible on the outside anymore. There is one thing they have never lost though: their strong belief in their deity and that they shall never be lost as long as they believe in the wind.

After moving many times in the past, the clan has finally settled down in the Millmeadows and claimed a mill for themselves. It is an important part of their lives, one might even consider it a religious place. Around the mill, there are several dens, weaved out of reeds, steady enough to withstand the strongest of gusts. Close to the mill flows a little brook that ends in a pool, giving them a steady supply of water for drinking, cooking, cleaning wounds, and other activities. The bamboo and reeds all around them are regularly taken care of, to ensure an everlasting supply.

★★★ CULTURE
Praying to the wind and thus the Windsinger is an important part of their culture. In their darkest of hours, there was always the wind urging them on, giving them hope. When a nest of eggs is laid as well as when the hatchlings hatch, they always keep track on which direction the wind blows. They believe that the wind is always telling them, giving them advice. Which wind a dragon is born under plays an important role in how their life will go. It is not the only deciding factor, of course, but they believe the wind gives every dragon a lesson, to learn more about themselves and be the truest version of themselves. This can often be difficult for dragons who were not born and raised in the clan to understand, especially since they often don't know which wind they were born under.
No matter how hard and devastating things may be, these dragons live with hope: hope that it will get better, that there is always a reason to forge ahead. It is no easy mindset, especially in the face of despair, but hope is a flower that needs to be nurtured, and these dragons have learned that.

Alongside the main clan, there are a few groups that exist outside the clan. Some of them have an alliance with the main clan, others simply exist alongside the main clan.
