Hmm? It looks like I've stumbled across Primal... What is this, a wind primal playing in a lair of shadows? Curious... how curious, indeed...
In the stillness of the jungle, shrouded in the shadows, there is nothing. There is emptiness where once there may have been life. There is stillness in the air where wind should have shifted the leaves, stuffiness in shadows entangled between the brush. In this land of forever night, the creatures have abandoned their homes. In this land of eternal darkness, there is no sign of life.
Or, perhaps, the eyes of the onlooker have been deceived by the very shadows that have shrouded the land.
The faintest ripple appears in the darkness - - - the unfurling of leather-bound muscle, the unclenching of razor-sharp talons. Curious eyes watch on, frozen in place by the shifting foliage. What they had thought were loping vines strung up across the trees shudder as if shaking off sleep. What had been mistaken as a thick, graying branch yearns up, revealing the great trunk of a creature instead. Eyes blink open - - - twin green will-o-the-wisps alight in the darkness just out of sight, as the creature camouflaged by the jungle suddenly comes alive. And now - - - the shadows are moving.
One hop, then two- - - and he’s free, great wings spreading out over the vastness of the lands as his Father’s breath carries him high above. Where the shadows had previously concealed him, now they dance around him, twirling with the winds as he soars through the lands of darkness once more.
