"No matter who you are, or where you come from, nobody is above the law." Following a rash of foodstock robberies, she had sent her apprentices out to gather more information on the civil case. When they failed to return, she went out herself. There, amongst the woody and dense underbrush, she found all three of her missing apprentices watching an exchange between a red dragon with many eyes and the beast clan bandits thought to be responsible for the robberies. The red one offered thick fabrics and shiny jewels in exchange for foodstuffs. But then, rather then taking her traded goods, the red one shoved the food back towards the bandits. They were starved, anyone could see it. Malnourished and deeply emaciated, the smallest of the group didn't even wait to snatch an insect pastry and quickly devour it. Rather, the red one laid a ledger on the ground for the bandit leader to sign. A promise. Come spring, they would gather wild materials to pay the red one back for her support during the harsh winter. Though it was against her sense of justice, she let the transaction slide and returned to the Windsinger's territories. The following spring, she ventured out again. Having persuaded herself that the bandits wouldn't live up to their bargain and that the red one was foolish, she watched in awe as they met again on the ridge. This time it was the beast clan who shoved all of the bartered goods toward the red one, leaving empty-handed themselves. They had kept their deal, and in turn, the foodstuff robberies had come to an abrupt end. April didn't hesitate. She flew after the battle-hardened leader and offered her services, and her eagerness to study, in exchange for a position amongst the clan ranks.   SpiralLevel: 1 Build: None
