This imposing mercenary has earned the scorn of the false goddess Ekleipein in his efforts to cast shade on her brilliance; in doing so, he has gained a son, and a quiet reputation of fixing whatever she's broken in her parade. It just so happens that sometimes a politician or two die in the mix. Now, he wanders the Starwood Strand, teaching Ethelm everything he knows... Well, most of it, he doesn't need to know how to make poison.

Shadow Runestone 		Untitled1646.png Jinzi's nostrils clench shut at the stink of the corpse he's burning. He always hates having to dispatch fellow Imperials; he never got used to the smell, and the fire can give away his location.

He's pretty sure this is why Ekleipein keeps sending them after him.

This lankier Imperial has managed to grow into a silhouette that smothers Jinzi's own shade... Not as much as this youth's antics have whittled away the shade protecting his heart, however. Jinzi is fond of him, and introduces him as if he was his kin by blood - not that anyone can tell, with how similar they look. Jinzi takes great care to quell any rumors that Ethelm's icy eyes are of Ekleipein's genetics.

The ice-hearted Imperial has proclaimed herself a goddess of the light, backed up by the dangerous divinator Equinox. The pair plague Jinzi, mocking him whenever they get the chance. He is often on the move, especially after taking Ethelm under his wing, to avoid their artificial spotlight.
