The newly crowned king of the Clan of Red Roses after the recent death of his father, Oweynagat is more than confused in his new position of power. While he was trained to become a king, his naturally timid personality never changed and mostly prevents him from enacting his duties. The fresh grief of his father's passing doesn't help right now as well; still lingering on it. It's only thanks to the other members that he's able to keep face to the public and Arcana Central officials without appearing like a complete wreck. He knows the moment they smell weakness from him, the Clan of Red Roses will be in grave danger. Although Oweynagat is still learning, quickly adjusting to the demands that his title asks from him, he knows he needs to learn even faster. Especially with the eyes of Ogoun still lingering on him.

Thanks to his mate's powers to speak for the ancestors of the Red Roses, the whispers of advice Oweynagat receives is more curial than ever. Although Oweynagat has started seeing his mate as a mouth for his ancestors rather than a dragon herself, constantly asking her to read off their thoughts to ease his stress, accidentally neglectful to her own needs.

The only other dragon in contention for becoming the king of the clan, Oweynagat can feel Ogoun's bitterness whenever he even so much as looks at the purple dragon. Oweynagat is careful around Ogoun to not show any vulnerability.
