________________________ Aemina traveled the world with a close friend of theirs, and eventually caught word of a growing clan within the Shifting Expanse. When they arrived, Aemina was informed that magic users were not permitted to live there if they weren't given the queen's blessing. They had accepted this, and were ready to head back into their nomadic lifestyle, but their dear friend had fallen in love with the clan. They begged Aemina to find a way for them to both live here, and Aemina agreed. They pleaded for the queen's blessing and found out the only way to get it was to defeat the previous magician in a duel. They hastily agreed. And so the duel was set, with many clan members and other travelers crowding to see what would happen between the two powerful magicians. Aemina knew that their foe was a much better fighter than them, and took to underhanded tactics to gain the upper hand. They were cruel and cunning, fatally wounding their opponent and winning the duel. (WIP) ______________________
