It was late one December evening that Biscotti the Light Skydancer shuffled tiredly into a late-night cafe. He was dog tired after a long shift at his own trade as a patissier. He was so exhausted he nearly fell asleep at the counter. Luckily, Pinecone was working that night, and she knew exactly what he needed. She made him a secret off-menu drink which tasted like a fancy hot chocolate with just a dash of espresso flavor. It also had a hazlenut aftertaste, which he specifically liked. He thanked her and once again almost fell into a snooze. She kept him company and chatted him up until he woke up enough to walk home. By then, her shift was over and she offered to accompany him home.

Though not one for companionship usually, Biscotti was fond of her personality and aura, and welcomed her. She walked him to his clan, where he graciously thanked her. She kissed him on the cheek and flew away. He went back to her cafe many times after his long days afterwards, and eventually built up the courage to invite her to join him and his clan. He claimed he had never truly intended to stay there, but he for certain didn't want to lose her.

Pinecone was more than happy to accept his offer. She was, however, quite surprised that there was no working barista in their mighty clan, especially after so many became her regular customers after just a couple days in the clan. She made friends easily with the other clan-members, but of course spent most of her free time enjoying talking to her mate, Biscotti. Her relaxed and friendly personality really complements his anxious and introverted personality. Together they make some pretty fantastic treats!
