Biography

Shadowstalker was born of a far off clan, wandering the befowled lands of the Plague flight until he reached the Barbvine clan, finding himself working to join the Plaguemothers faithful under Ruby, the priestess. He is a silent, pensive creature, slight of frame, even for a Fae, and struggling to find his place amongst the larger dragons of the clan.
Others doubt him-- but he resolves that he shall show them.
Quote:
"Take care, fae, that you don't fall in the pot," the huge guardian rumbles, playfully nudging Shadowstalker with a wing. It nearly tips the tiny dragon over, not quite into the pot but almost into the fire beneath it. He hisses in irritation at his fellow faithful, and the guardian rumbles back tersely, and he almost flies into a rage at the very sound of it-

"Enough, both of you. Spill a drop of that cauldron and I'll dip you into the Wyrmwound to get some more. It's worth more than either of you."
Ruby gently moves Shadowstalker away, and he dips his head respectfully, although part of him wants to snap at her for the injustice of daring to move him. But no-- that is the head priestess, and her will is that of the Plaguemother, and Shadowstalker can suffer a few unpleasantries for the sake of the Mother.

For now, anyway. Climb the ladder, he says. Climb the ladder, so that when the moment is right, he will fall exactly where he wants to be.
