A seasoned hunter and gatherer, Ruin enjoys simultaneously running errands into the Mire for her mate, Rune, as well as singlehandedly training other dragons to reach their potential. Often othertimes, she can be found fighting in the mire by her lonesome, which she likes to do simply because she can.

Rune objects to one of her nicknames, "The Midnight Witch," arguing that one should not be called "Midnight" unless they are midnight in color-- which Ruin is not. Nevertheless, despite this point, neither Rune nor Ruin can come up with a more fitting name, since "The Obsidian Witch" really just doesn't cut it.
