While many self-preserving dragons would avoid a huge storm at all costs, Cooper actively seeks them out. Why, you ask? To "ride" them. He uses the magics of Wind, Lightning, and Water to fly in even the most dangerous storms, all in the name of fun.
He's also fascinated with these storms, plotting every potential move before jumping into them. He knows enough about weather to become a weather predictor, honestly.

When Cooper's first nest hatched, each of the three hatchlings gained one of Amatsu's types of Magic. Menoetius was gifted with Water magic, and went on to become his clan's main mage. Startoucher, soon to be exalted, received Wind magic. The third hatchling, Ronja, who would be neglected, would wield Lightning magic.
