Mikaya takes care off all the major clan finances. He forces all merchants, as well as the clan leaders to keep very strict records of any spending, profits and losses. His records are very clean and legible, always delivered exactly on time to Sidonia for final review. Even if he reports to the clan matriarch, Mikaya is the highest authority for the clan's treasure. He creates budgets, organizes savings and ultimately decides how treasure is used by the clan. He is also the one who guards the treasure vault which contains the clan's collective wealth.

Other than his accounting duties he spends a lot of time with his mate Calyx. They both joined the clan together and are very much in love. Despite their pale plumage they are not ailing, they were merely bred to look weak to hide their hidden magical talents. Mikaya secretly uses his magic to make his quill write for him when he wants to take a nap during the day. Too bad they hate conflict and would never use their magical abilities to do anything other than aiding themselves. Unlike Calyx however, Mikaya has worked hard to hone his abilities and has incredible control and strength.
