- Her eyes were facetted after a failed attempt to pass through the veil as easy as her father does. While she came back mostly intact, the other side kept most of her sight.- The enchanted candles that guide her leave no light to anyone but her. They're called "Candles of Gehenna", and help her eyes see past the veil in which they were left. - Her small stature makes flying difficult. She prefers to ride on top of Mourning. - Her locket holds more than one might expect. |
It was nothing she hadn't faced before. The frightened looks. The worried glances. The odd faces as she walked through the streets. It meant nothing to her. She had someone she had to see. The door to the clan hall was wide open, like the arms of a mother. Stepping inside, she was greeted with a happy "welcome!" and a strange sight. A beaming fae. The rose painted, watery edges of her frills were lax, and her crests were held high. Her joy was genuine, and nothing about this sight worried her. The sight of a dressed, unfamiliar, odd-eyed stranger meant nothing to her. It was concerning. "Cotton?" "That's me!" She paced around the newcomer, antsy. "Welcome to the Geoderoot clan. What do you need?" It was almost scary how happy she was. "Your seer. I have matters to discuss with her." Her voice was dull, as most fae voices were. "Which one?" "The one born of mayhem. The one born of the dead, the one born of the shade, and the one born of the stars." The woman sat confused for a short moment. "Silverstar? I don't know what she has to do with the shade, but alright." The two exited, and Elpihas wondered how little of their history this clan knew. |

The protector and lover. As a self proclaimed "veil guard", he hunts all those who wish to harm Korvax and his kin. Ever since he's bonded with Elpihas, though, one kin has leapt to the top of his list to protect.
