Lifeblood

Lifeblood's introduction to Lunis's clan was... interesting, to say the least. Before deciding to settle with this clan, she was an assassin for hire who wandered all across Sornieth and was notorious for her ability to kill most any dragon she was assigned to target, and it was also rumored that she had a deep connection to magic, further adding to her fearsome reputation. One fateful day, Lifeblood was contracted by an anonymous dragon to go after a new target: a young royal residing in a clan nestled within the Lightning Realms by the name of Kyle. Never one to refuse a job, Lifeblood immediately sprang into action, tracking down the small clan, and slipping within their walls. Lifeblood managed to catch young Kyle off guard, but she underestimated his frightful temper and his raw strength in battle and was bested in a surprising turn of events. Left at the mercy of the young king, she awaited her punishment and her bloody execution, but to her surprise, the dragon she'd just tried to kill helped her up; he had taken pity on her and decided to let her live, which could have been a dangerous decision. But Lifeblood had a strong sense of honor, and, touched by this act of compassion and mercy, developed a new respect for this strange dragon, promising never to harm a scale (or feather) on him as thanks for sparing her life. She has spent every day since then in the clan's service, using her skills in combat and magic to better her newfound family. The identity of the dragon who contracted her to assassinate Kyle still remains a mystery though, and she secretly wonders just who that dragon could be...
