She was cast out of her home clan upon the discovery that she was blind, and spent much of her early life traveling aimlessly; never quite fitting in anywhere that she went. She turned bitter, and by the time she came to the clan she had lost what little regard she still felt for her fellow dragons. Is it no wonder that she turned into such a cold and vengeful mistress? "There is still one thing she is capable of loving; however, a flock of birds that has stayed with her for all of her travels. They are her precious treasures—her only friends—and she would rather die than give them up. Amorette weaves and trades delicate silks in order to obtain the supplies she needs to maintain the health of her dearest pets; her creations are surprisingly well-made for a blind dragon, but many have taken advantage of her by paying far less than their true worth. "Amorette is quite vain and subdued for a spiral; she lacks the breed's common hyperactivity and rarely ever sleeps. She can be found at all times of the day and night whispering quietly, and no one can tell whether it is to herself or her birds. Most of her time is spent alone with her flock, so very little is known about her and her past. She is only spoken of in the quietest of whispers in the most private areas of the clan, but one thing is known for sure: Amorette cannot be trusted."

Though she may be unsociable, that doesn't mean Amorette is unaware of what happens throughout the Clan. When she had heard of Mesme being born blind, she requested for Rhett to bring Alphonse, Mei, and their little girl to her. Amorette showed a sweet and tender side of herself to the little fae, albeit it took a bit of an effort for her to do so. Since then, Amorette has found solace in Mesme's company. After hearing that Aintisari longed for silks, Amorette decided to weave some special ones for her. Since the female Tundra was mated to a member of the Royal Family, Amorette knew the silks would need to be strong and durable. She presented her finished products to the Princess in a very shy and awkward manner. Thinking that Aintisari's silence was a result of anger, Amorette whipped around to disappear in embarrassment. But as she was about to fly away, Aintisari surprised her by sniffling back a sob and thanking her quietly. The two dragons have become rather good friends after realizing the other wasn't as stuck up or cold as they each had thought. Their relationship is still a bit awkward, as Amorette has very little experience with friendships, and Aintisari has had no previous contact with a blind dragon.
Amorette has recently expanded her skills to begin weaving other textiles and making clothing. She's brilliant with mixing and matching textures, but she of course needs help when it comes to coordinating colors. Her Phoenix, a female named "Mushhada" (moosh-HAH-dah), is a great help in that area. Occasionally, Rhett or Aintisari will help her as well. |
