Vaticide is a wondering spirit who uses illusion magic to lure naive travelers. It’s home is a told to be a grand library, but entering it puts one’s life in question. The library holds grand beauty and priceless books and scrolls, one could consider it fantastical. But caution is advised when looking around. Any book a dragon shows interest to, Vaticide watches—it learns about the dragon. If someone let’s it learn too much, they’re no better than dead. Few make it in and out the library unscathed,and those who do, heed warning of the place. The place is nearly a maze, and the books shift according to what Vaticide assumes the trapped dragon would prefer. If something is miscalculated and the trapped dragon goes a different direction, there’s the chance of losing Vaticide in the maze. If the dragon falls for Vaticide’s lure, they’ll set off a trap that’ll drop them into the feeding chamber where they’ll face against the spirit for their life.

The spirit used to be alive, said to be a strong prophet to an old cult. But as they tried to complete this so told prophecy, they were assassinated by a spy hidden amongst the cult sent by a kingdom that was put in question by the cult and prophecy. Vaticide was buried under the cult’s library and base, it’s spirit rising again, blinded by ghostly rage. The cult members had buried themselves alive around Vaticide’s corpse, ending up giving it their power when it rose again. The base cannot be found in one location, like a ghost town, it moves, but the corpses and original ruins remain where the base was originally built. Since Vaticide’s and the cult member’s powers mingled, Vaticide gained a few physical attributes from them in his new ghostly form, namely the hood. The hood can be taken off it’s head, but doing so will ‘civilize’ Vaticide in a sense. It sends Vaticide out of the anger-driven craze until it’s put back on, but until it is on, Vaticide hears the cult member’s voices whispering in his head. Without the hood, Vaticide’s form looks more to how he would look without the cult’s influence (design found at the bottom). The library cannot be morphed while Vaticide isn’t under cult influence, therefore rendering the place safe. |

| Without influence, Vaticide is a rather charming fellow, as long as they aren’t stressed or worried in any way, that is. If it’s not reminded, Vaticide might believe they’re still working on the prophecy and the cult member’s are furious at them. Vaticide breaks under stress. Vaticide also has a bit of cyrokinesis, the air around him being naturally colder than the rest of the place. If someone were to ask him what the prophecy was or why he was called the prophet, they wouldn’t get much of a response other than hum blabbering about how he can’t tell anyone. |
