They/them

From the moment they hatched, Selby has never fit in among their rambunctious, exuberant family. They're quiet and withdrawn, always talking to themself or jumping at empty shadows. Because to they eyes, there is something in those shadows.
Selby has the ability to see and communicate with the restless spirits of the lingering dead. They're not skittish anymore as an adult, having grown used to ghosts. In fact, they might even be more outwardly emotionless than your average fae. Ceryn is a frequent contact of theirs; whenever the hunter has a case that requires someone familiar with ghosts, Selby is who she calls. Additionally, they've struck up an odd friendship with the oddly corporeal specter, Noah, and the significantly less so spirit, Lunacy. Selby and Sylvan haaate each other so much, it’s hard to describe.
