Biography
Merierid the Violet-Laden Hummingbird
Painter
Female
Panromantic Pansexual
Merierid was born in the Southern Icefields, where she spent her childhood wandering from clan to clan. She learned many different crafts and trades on her journey, but found that she liked painting the most. After she became an adult, Merierid decided that the icy wasteland she called home might not have been the best place for her. She journeyed to the Starfall Isles, where she had heard art was more appreciated. Though many clans appreciated her works of art, she decided to stay with the clan of Mydryin.
Since then, she's taken a ridgeback named Ganelon as her mate. She finds that he's too uptight though, and the pair only breed to produce children.
When a pale pink coatl named Ivesce joined the clan, the pair became quick friends. They've since became partners as well. Ivesce is comfortable with Merierid continuing to breed with Ganelon, and she does.
Merierid recently opened the relationship further when she and Ivesce added a new coatl to their relationship. Merierid is comfortable breeding with Nosyn, and Ivesce and Ganelon are aware.
Merierid is a little stuffy and snobby, but she doesn't mean to be. She's a skilled artist. She can be a bit arrogant, but she is really loving. She takes her art seriously, and she is very proud of how far she's come. She's the clan's resident painter who has painted portraits of dragons, deities, and stories alike.
