Briar became paraplegic in any forme with a spine after pulling a manuver that snapped his already rusting frame in half. While his chassis was braced and repaired, we don't have the technology just yet to fix paralysis in humans or animals. Because feeling is enabled by the Sensory Grid in vehicles, Briar's mended frame doesn't affect him as a Silverado, thankfully.
