Urodzony na nieprzystepnych terenach Flightu Burzy stał się prawdziwym mistrzem survivalu, który przetrwa w najtwardszych warunkach; słoneczne lasy wokół Lux Legis są więc dla niego niczym pryszcz, a pobyt w nich traktuje niemal jak wakacje. Wcale jednak nie odpoczywa - to on zaopatruje miasto w większość zwierzyny łowieckiej, dostarczając mnóstwo mięsa dla jego ludno... znaczy, khm, smokości. Pomimo swoich rozmiarów potrafi świetnie się kamuflować. Wybornie też strzela z łuku.
Prywatnie... jest strasznym samochwałą. Większość smoków nie może znieść jego towarzystwa i nieustannego popisywania się, przez co przypadł mu los przymusowego samotnika. Jedyną istotą, która go znosi, jest Długoszyjny Bartosz, ale to głównie dlatego, że nie bardzo rozumie, co Hunter do niego mówi i jedynie uśmiecha się miło; Hunterowi, jak widać, to wystarcza.
