Story: Karel was born to the queen of another kingdom. However, his mother had been unfaithful and when he was born, it was clear that he could not have been the kings son. The king left his wife two choices: exile her newborn son or leave with him. She decided to abandon her son. Karel was then picked up and raised by an old lady, who had fled from the amethyst kingdom. She lived deep in a fores and was rumored to be a dark witch and her forest was avoided by most. She was an amazing mother, as she had always wanted children, but could not lay eggs herself. This allowed karel to grow up undisturbed and rather peacefully. His adoptive mother tought him all sorts of things. How to brew potions, create poison and even cast some forms of magic. Unfortunately the old lady passed away when karel was still fairly youngand staying at her house was too painfull for him, so he left for another kingdom. On his way to the next kingdom he met Luryl. Her story beeing similar to his, they clicked very quickly and soon fell in love. Once they got to the kingdom they were heading for, they found it in utter chaos. They had recently been plagued by a terrible illness and allot of the dragons succumbed to the illness. Karel didn´t waste a second and did his best to safe as many as he could with the knowledge his mother had taught him. Unfortunately the queen had passed away prior to their arrival and the king was behond saving and passed soon after. Thankful for their help, the remaining dragons asked karel to become their new king and after some hestitation he and luryl agreed.
