Anduin

I awoke to the sound of metal grinding bone. These dragons were making weapons out of them. Scraps of metal lay here and there some searching through them and creating what looks to be armor. Dragons to the side were making strange chants around the already formed ones causing them to glow strangely.

This place looked strange. Wires and vines twined together overhead. Trees and bushes growing out of large metal things with broken glass that are up against the wall. Those things looked like they could hold a grown dragon. This place looks like it was taken over by nature long ago.

The wooden tables, anvils, and grinding stones look out of place here. Like these dragons had cleaned away what was once here and repurpost the place.

A noise makes me look down. A dragon curled around a pearl is asleep at my feet. I notice my skin is very different from theirs. I have shiny skin that looks like metal. There is bone encasing me in places. I don't think it was there before but I couldn't tell you why.

I appeare to be on an alter of sorts. Lite candles at my feet and what I assume to be offerings. Claws, teeth, skulls, and other bones lay strategically around me.

A gasp causes me to look up. A long regal dragon stands before me, face in complete awe. He (I assume it is male from the tone) try to speak but no comprehensible word comes.

I try to reply but a strange whirling noise comes out instead. He begins to shake as others drop what they are doing and rush over. Some drop to their knees bowing their heads while others stare withe the same expression as the first. One walks forward and speaks. She is a tiny fluttering thing with runes glowing down her side.

"Greetings great one." she says, "We have long awaited for you to awake and lead us in battle!" Battle? Why would I go to battle for these dragons I do not know. I stretch my neck and look around. Those I can see appeare to be starved. Their skin stretched around their bones. Scars cover them. Some missing appendages and even some their eyes.

"We have long suffered under the reign of The King. Abused and cast aside for the slightest mishap. Families killed, children enslaved, and lands taken! NO MORE!" She has become flush as she continues her speech. Eyes shining like gems. "If you would help us we will see these injustices righted!"

Somthing strange happens next. The little dragon with the pearl at my feet scampers up my side. I notice then that it's hide is made of old leather not living skin. It stops on my nose and gestures that I should open my mouth. I don't know why but I comply.

It drops the pearl in my mouth and then all goes blank. When I reawaken all the dragons are dead. The little dragon is holding the pearl again and motioning me back to the pedestal. I walk back and it climbs behind my head and in-between sheets of metal on my neck. There is a click and.....
