Just by looking at her, no one would expect Melpomene to tell such sad stories. Her vibrant garments are only a facade, however— she has a gift for crafting characters that everyone can emphasize with, only to lead them to destruction or folly in the end. Despite her talent, she is still highly sought after for her storytelling, as she does weave magnificent stories amidst the tragedy and even if everyone's heart is heavy afterward, no one can deny they weren't moved in some way. It's certainly not an everyday performance, so Melpomene has ample time to write up her notes and practice— she does all her stories by voice alone.

» Melpomene is an excellent mimic and does all sorts of specialized voices for each character and even some very realistic sound effects when telling her stories.

» No one really knows where Melpomene came from actually— She always says the Tangled Woods, but her clothing is embroidered in strange languages and stars, and she came to the lair with a bag filled with runestones and odd trinkets no one's ever seen before...

» She wears lots of intricate, commissioned jewelry made by Aphrodite.
