★ ABOUT C...Crick. Crrrrick. That was the sole noise that dared exist in the cold night air. The egg that made the sound, slowly hatching under the blood moon, had a strange glow to it, but even with the glow, it still looked more like a shadow than any sort of light. The dragon who emerged from the egg was red, like the moon that night, and made no sound as he enjoyed the night, like the rest of the world at that moment. But although blood moons and the creatures roaming under them are usually depicted to be terrifying, bad, like something that causes pain and suffering, but this dragon didn't show any sign of being hostile or mean. Its purple eyes showed kindness as it looked towards the moon. It stood and slowly figured out how to walk, then walked off into the woods. stopping occasionally and turning another direction as to not scare one of the already terrified creatures towering in their dens and under bushes. Eventually, it walked into a clan, one filled with dragons of all kinds, and made its home there. Some were terrified of it, thinking it was secretly an evil demonic creature, but the dragon said nothing to this. It never talked, just walked around. No matter what was said to it, the only response would be a friendly gaze, and if you wanted one, a hug. It seemed able to sense whenever someone needed a hug, and react accordingly, although it never once opened its mouth. People started calling it Hailhawk after a long time, and eventually Hailhawk was fully settled into the lair and people enjoyed his soundless company. ©MagnoliaTale
