Skyflower, the clan's de-facto "grandfather".

A former warrior for the Windsinger, Skyflower was once a formidable opponent. His many years of combat had hardened him. His intense gaze and his booming voice commanded respect from his subordinates and those around him. As he was a travelling warrior, he visited many places, one of which was to the Zephyr Steppes where his soldiers had made camp. A travelling circus had also made its way into the area, with one major attraction being a mysterious performer who danced only in the light of the moon. This dancer, he would learn, was Marine Moondancer, an Imperial whose scales glinted like moonlight and whose moves matched those of the tides. Skyflower was instantly smitten and Marine's steps nearly faltered after catching his eyes. It seemed she, too, had been captivated by him. After the show, he tried to find her but was swept away in the crowds, never to get another look at the sparkling dragon.

After an intense battle with an envoy of the Tidelord, Skyflower was wounded and deemed unfit to return to battle. This led to a depression and the feel of a loss of purpose for him. He knew in his heart then that after his convalescence, it was time for him to find a permanent home. He was getting older now, and knew that his many years of war would lead him to no glorious end on their own. Though he felt lonely, his attempts to fill up the hole in his heart left by Marine throughout the years left him with many mates and children, but none permanent, and many had passed on. Skyflower wised for a place to settle down and a certain dragon to be with, but his attempts to find the mysterious dancer bore no fruit.

That is, until, one day. His search had led him to the Crystalspine Reaches, where he chanced upon two young hatchlings that were playing by them self but had been surrounded by monsters. "Time to break out the old skills," Skyflower thought. Baring his teeth and giving a warrior's yell, he charged at the monsters, careful to keep the children behind him during the fight. Even aging and wounded, Skyflower was still a formidable opponent and a force to be reckoned with. As soon as the monsters were defeated, a Tundra came barreling out of the woods and into the fray, hearing his hatchlings crying for him. Seeing the results of the battle, Thistle (as Skyflower would learn) did nothing but thank him repeatedly, as did the hatchlings. As thanks, Thistle invited Skyflower to come stay in their new clan. The hatchlings' pleas and praises were incredibly effective and convinced him to come with them.

Walking in to the clan's common area, Skyflower's gaze met the dragon he had been searching for. He made quick strides over to Marine, the two embraced, and he knew his home had been found.
