LUDIVINE
Headmaster

“...And it said unto Appassionata;
You are the light in the dark,
which shall dissipate the fog covering their eyes.”


According to the Tenets of Appassionata’s Vision, the role of headmaster is that of a guide. With her wisdom the headmaster leads the people to prosperity. She is there to answer their questions and mediate their problems; but she must not let ignorance cloud her vision. Various interpretations of the tenets have led to vastly different headmasters - some acting as counselors for the public, and others ruling with an iron fist.

The 'Expansion of Independence' has muddied the waters. Outside factions, the Angelic Court and Order of The Illuminated, came into power within the city-state. They experience none of the hardships of the headmaster, yet place themselves among her. They have no stake in the well-being of dragons who reside here, yet they rule over them. The headmaster's word is no longer absolute.

The public has forgotten about this humiliation, but Ludivine has not.
