Introduction and Personality
The founder of the clan, Regal, is a rather stoic, dignified leader. He seems to be the most mature amongst the clan, making rational and quick decisions when needed. Those in the clan are drawn to him due to his guiding nature, and always look to him when they're in need. However, newcomers may believe Regal to be rather cold and distasteful, usually taking offense to him when they first meet. Though, eventually, those who meet with Regal soon learn that he has good intentions, and is truly a kind dragon deep down behind that emotionless mask of his. Despite this hidden, caring nature of Regal's, when it comes to other clans; especially other flights; he's openly ruthless, cruel, and merciless unlike your normal pacifist Tundra; not even hesitating to slaughter any dragons who wrong him or his clan's members. Even though this great leader is rather charismatic and helpful, Regal has terrible memory, being a Tundra dragon. He often forgets the names of those in his clan, having Opulent assist him with this memory loss. Although, when Opulent isn't around, he simply calls his clan members his "nakama". Some dragons fail to understand what the word means, but regardless can easily infer that it means something along the lines of "comrade" or "friend". |

Origin and Meaning of Name
Many of Regal's dear clanmates have questioned where he himself came from, given how he knew the majority of the members' origins. However, upon asked, Regal changed the topic and avoided the inquire about where he came from. Therefore, no dragon knows Regal's backstory, not even Opulent. Albeit, the meaning behind Regal's name is that the very definition of the word is; "of, resembling, or fit for a monarch, especially in being magnificent or dignified." This hints at the fact that he's the founder of the clan, and therefore is seen as the king in a sense; making his name rather fitting. |

Familiar
Regal's familiar, Rufus; who was named after a bobcat's scientific name; was actually found while Regal was hunting for the clan. When Regal had collected enough meat for his clanmates, he had recounted the pile to notice a few pieces were missing. This went on for a couple of days, before Regal had found the culprit of the missing meat; a Scorchpaw Prowler. Curiously and generously, Regal didn't kill the scavenging bobcat, rather, Regal began leaving meat for the Prowler on purpose. After Regal had started this trend of feeding the stray feline, it began warming up to Regal; even starting to follow the latter around whenever he went on hunts. And once it had gotten to the point where the Scorchpaw would even bring meat to Regal and assist him in gathering food, Regal decided to name the bobcat Rufus and take him home to the clan; making Rufus Regal's personal hunting companion. Regal also appears to own a Tengu as his familiar, however, members of the clan rarely see the Tengu, and Regal barely ever mentions the latter. Opulent even goes on to say she's seen the strange Tengu hanging around at the very beginning of the clan, almost as if surveying Regal on his journey in becoming the founder of a clan. Smarter members of the clan suspect this, believing the Tengu acts as a sort of spy or messenger to someone of a higher order; though no one knows who this mysterious dragon is and what their intentions may be. |
