Adalee feels extremely ashamed of the deal she made to sell her soul to the Shade, and thus feels the need to hide her face. This is why she also hangs around Matasuintha; to soothe the mental pain. In this regard, she is an exact opposite of Luxuria when it comes to personality; she does not flaunt giving part of herself to the shade, but instead deeply regrets it and wishes for her pre-lich life back.

B I O G R A P H Y

Born in the frigid winter land of the Ice Flight, specifically the Frozen Sanctum, Adalee grew up a collector of things and trinkets she saw as interesting, while having to survive the cold. She moved to become a necromancer after becoming an adult, and succeeded in her trials. While training her capabilities, she decided to just test the more... Unnerving parts of magic, leaning to the shade a bit. It was only a little bit of usage, but she instantly regret it.

Feeling as if she had betrayed what she sought to become, she went into hiding to hopefully try and repent for what she had done. She soon found solace in the Cleanrotten, hearing from locals of a monastic Necromancer with a deep, calming aura. She managed to approach Matasuintha and told her of what she had done, and the Gaoler took pity in the poor girl, comforting her and taking her under her wing. As it is, she still has to hide the fact she's a lich from others, as to not get attacked.
