Biography
╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
"What have you become...." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Mentally insane physchopath with self-conflict. Stalking the edge of the starlit forests, Ziburn watches for any unaware dragons. Only rarely being seen, he follows lost dragons, watching them for days and weeks on end, while driving them crazy with whispers and magic. When the victim is driven mad, he can be seen glowering at the edges of their vision, a crazed, snarling grin on his face. Eventually, the victim dies. Ziburn's voice is a dark growl, barely heard. As a hatchling he was left behind by the ones he trusted most, causing him to spiral into despair trying to find a will to live. Driving unsuspecting dragons mad is his way of repaying what happened to him, taking their lives in toll for what he's lost. He can be glimpsed sitting at the edges of forests, curled over and mourning, or just generally going crazy. It is worst to approach him at these times as he will instantly kill if disturbed. He is often filled with the urge to find and kill the ones he loved for leaving him, but finds himself crying over how much he misses them, wishing they'd never left... LORE IS OLD AND OUT OF DATE. Rose. Red. Blossom. Autumn. Blood. Murder. Find. Kill. No... I snarled. Turned in the dim lit forest. Crunch "Dragon" Whispered. Eyes slitted. Someone. Crunch. Approaching. Crunch. "Kill." Kill? "Hello?" It said. It talked. Me? I watched. He turned. Eyes met. I shrieked. Raised talons. Fear glinting. He's afraid. Good. "Wait!" Stopped. He frowned. I growled. Pointed. "You..." Similar...? Markings. Eyes widened. He sobs. "Ziburn" I stiffened. Kill. No... "What have you become?" "Me" "Come with me... please?" KILL? No. Trust? ... maybe. "Brother..." I rumbled. Untensed. Eyes met. This time I let them. He held his talon out. I took it. Why? He opened his wings. Mine crackled. Shards of blood snapping and cracking. I spread my wings. We flew. Left the forest. Good. Return...? ..... No. Trusting. Brother had found me.

Nov. 14th Blossom~ The Imperial egg hatched today. As expected, the hatchling looks like he was born straight from The Shade. He's constantly whining and crying EVERY. SINGLE. SECOND. I looked down on him with a disapproving expression. He looked up at me with sadness. "Should have left your egg to rot" I sighed frustratingly as Autumn suddenly rushed in, a fish writhing in her talons. She huffed. "Here" she said, handing the fish carefully to the hatchling. She looked down, staring into space for a second before she looked up at me carefully. "You don't mean that." "I do." "It's a hatchling!" "Look at it Autumn, it does not deserve this life, it's egg was repulsing and it is repulsing" Autumn looked down, sadness swirling in her eyes, "What did he ever do wrong?" "Hatch." I took a menacing step towards the hatchling and he shrank, dropping the fish. "Look at it, it's pathetic and scared and disgusting" "It's not his fault!" Autumn cried, sympathy glinting in her eyes as she took a protective step towards him. "Might as well end him before it is his fault."

Jan. 20th, 2 months after Blossom~ It can speak now. Or at least can somewhat speak. Autumn named him Ziburn. He's stopped complaining so much now, however he still feels like a burden to carry around. I reached up and picked a leaf off the glowing pink tree, storing it in a pouch for later. My talons crunched through the leaves and moss as I turned to head back... He half waddled, half stumbled towards me as I awkwardly sidled around him. He glared up at me. "What have?" "Nothing" I snarled. He turned, mimicked my expression, and looked back at me. "There something" "There's nothing for you to stick your ugly snout into" I growled, whipped around, and placed my pouch onto the makeshift table. I glanced backwards. His ears drooped as he turned and waddled back to whatever he was doing. Chasing leaves, I assume. I growled to myself, sorting the assortment of herbs and plants in my pouch. That hatchling deserved everything he got.

February 6th, almost 4 months old Autumn~ I doubt Blossom enjoys being around hatchlings. Especially Ziburn... particularly Ziburn. I finished tending to the garlands draped over my wings and stretched, extending my limbs. All I could think about was him and Blossom. Ziburn has begun developing feelings and unfortunately understanding on how much Blossom hates him... I sighed and got up. Blossom was out finding who knows what again, picking at those funny pink trees. It was a potential opportunity. I casually wondered over to where Ziburn was making some form of art, certain he was unaware of my presence. I silently leaned over his shoulder, out of his sight, but able to the delicate spirals and lines of... a deity? It was curled over, squiggly black lines creating it's shape. A silhouette of a deity? "Can you tell what it is?" I jerked backwards with surprise and he looked up at me with a frown of concern. "How could you tell I was there?" I said, partly freaked out, "I didn't make a sound?" "Uh... magic?," he shrugged and flicked the tip of his tail at me, "You seem very... surprised?" I exhaled, chuckling nervously, "You can sense dragons? Around you? Without seeing them?" "Yea" He grinned at me. I tried to not let the worry show. "Here" I picked up a strip of fabric from a table of in-progress apparel and carefully blindfolded him, "Count to 20 and then tell me, without looking, where I am" He smiled, "Sure" Concerned if he was even able to count to 20 I silently creeped around him and slid in beside a row of pot plants and workbenches. "...20." I watched him think silently for a couple of seconds. And then turn. And look directly at me.
