Charlie

Charlie was a kind child of the two, raised on his mothers farm as his father shied back into the observatory. Charlie never blamed him, as Ichor always came and visited when time allowed. As a hatchling, he was never kept away from the horrors of Fenrisulfur, but he never saw the world as broken or any less beautiful because of it. His home was still stretched among beautiful scenery, and the dragons all worked together to help each other. Despite how aggressive they may have been, the city felt alive to him and he loved this feeling; the invigoration of all the happiness and the way each dragon fell into their own place. He was optimistic, a hard worker but even Meadow could tell he longed to just explore. She began to take over some of his chores, allowing him more time to go to the City. He would follow dragons around, learning what he could from them. He adored the city, and yet, when Meadow herself took her hatchlings to Shrike, he happily climbed onto the Gaoler. He said goodbye to his mother, and then climbed to the antlers, excited to see the world outside of where he was born.
