Olympia used to be a prisoner in The Keep, but she was given a chance to redeem herself by working for the Guild. The imperial accepted the deal to earn her freedom. Just lying in the cell is quite boring you see. She has no plans to better herself or work towards this 'redemption'. She just plays nicely to keep her supervisors happy while testing out her limits as a guard.

While working towards gaining the trust of the Guild, Olympia keeps doing deals with her old criminal contacts. She gives information about the Guild to whoever is willing to pay her the most, as Olympia's loyalty lies within gold.

Her supervisors are familiar with her past and nature, but they believe it's better to try to redeem the lesser criminals than let them rot in the Keep. Just doing a little bit of scamming isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things after all.

And if Olympia gets caught doing questionable business, she will face the consequences of her actions.
