Biography
3/9/22
Khoi was brought in for the sole purpose of being able to breed with Varuna. She wasn't going to fight her new clan leader over something like this, not when she had just been picked up from the market. If she were sent back out, there was no telling if she would be bought. She might just rot there. Besides, it wasn't all bad. Varuna was a good looking dragon, although the threatening stares she received from Dawnsblood sent shivers down her spine.

She wasn't sure what would happen to the eggs when they hatched, but in that moment she became protective over the newborn hatchlings. Her fangs bared and her claws sunk into the ground when she heard footsteps approaching, only to find it was Dawnsblood.
"Give me one of the children," she hissed under her breath. Her tone had held an urgency to it.
Khoi was doubtful. This was the dragon who had been glaring at her since she arrived with nothing but hostility. She refused and curled her tail around the hatchlings.
This seemed to agitate the larger female and she rolled her eyes. "I'm not doing this for you, I'm doing this for him. But fine, fight Sunset for the kids. Good luck with that."
Hearing that, Khoi realized she had no other choice. "Take her," she nearly snapped as she shoved one of the hatchlings towards Dawnsblood. The guardian took the small dragon, who really had no sense of what was going on, and disappeared. Minutes later, Sunset arrived and all of the children were taken to be sold.
She never saw any of them again.

Khoi can't help feeling particularly fond of Varuna. They had children together, he was promised to her, and he was a very attractive dragon. However, she saw the way he always looked at Dawnsblood after she had saved Haven. He never looked at her that way. His eyes were always on the great red dragon. A sort of jealousy started to fester in Khoi and the next time the two were to have children, she did her best to convince Varuna to choose her. However, he turned her down, leaving her alone with the nest and the eggs. She knew that he didn't see her as a mate, no matter how much she saw him as one. She also knew there would be no saving the hatchlings this time and her heart seemed to break a little.
