Introduction and Personality
Despite Sybaritic's colors, unlike Opulent, he appears to fit in a lot more comparatively. Sybaritic is even referred to as the most handsome, striking dragon of the group; taking pride in this title. Due to this pride, however, Sybaritic is a rather arrogant and narcissistic individual who is often seen mocking others for their actions, appearance, or overall behavior. It's been noted several times by his fellow clanmates that Sybaritic is extremely observant and keen, picking up on the smallest of changes in a dragon's mood or habits; even when it comes to the famously emotionless and hard-to-read Fae dragons. Given this attribute of his, Sybaritic is fully capable of manipulating others to get his way, remaining to be cunning in the process. Luckily, he rarely ever manipulates dragons, and sticks to his jeering nature to get what he wants; the attention of others and to have a good laugh. Despite all of this, Sybaritic is still somewhat a mystery to most. He's an open book on the outside, however, on the inside; some of the pages are ripped out. This makes it hard to really discern Sybaritic's true intentions, or even why he acts the way he does. |

Origin and Meaning of Name
As his intentions and goals remain a mystery, so does his past and where Sybaritic came from. All that Regal knows is that he had found the Banescale lost in the Scarred Wasteland, attempting to fight off a Maren Warlock who didn't seem all that happy with Sybaritic. Regal had to assist Sybaritic in warding off the Warlock, and in return gained Sybaritic's respect and loyalty. After the incident, Sybaritic cursed himself for acting so vulnerable and weak that day; swearing that he'd grow stronger in order to stand up for himself better, even when faced with another monster such as a Warlock. However, regarding his origins, Sybaritic claims to be the prince of some foreign land and its civilization; to which the majority of his clanmates believe to be a lie. Although, no one can really deny it with solid evidence, so Sybaritic continues the claim to this day. Sybaritic's name is also rather similar to the founders', given how it means; "fond of sensuous luxury or pleasure; self-indulgent." This meaning gives way to Sybaritic's desires; attention and a good laugh. He wishes to indulge himself in his own pleasure by whatever means necessary, even if it entails the degrading of an individual. |

Familiar
Currently, Sybaritic's companion is a Sakura Owl named after the most popular Japanese cherry tree cultivar; Kanzan. The Sakura Owl has picked up personality traits of Sybaritic's and respects the latter, even going as far as to ignore those Sybaritic dislikes or mocks. The two actually had met on the field of battle in the Coliseum, when Sybaritic was training with Pluto and Opulent. The three had achieved triumph whilst battling forest owls in the Woodland Path, however, one Sakura Owl was left standing, and refused to fight the three dragons. Sybaritic taunted the owl, albeit, the latter didn't budge. And yet, the owl instead flew over to the Banescale and nestled itself on Sybaritic's back; using the roots in its wings to ground itself on the gold and white armored plates. The Banescale tried removing the cozy owl, yet Opulent stopped him from doing so and commented that she thought the Sakura Owl was adorable. Dreadfully, and with a heaved sigh, Sybaritic gave into the Sakura Owl, having Opulent give him the name Kanzan. Sybaritic also has a Ruffletail Tadhop as his familiar. Like Kanzan, the two had met on the field of battle. However, Opulent found the Ruffletail Tadhop to be incredibly cute, as per usual, and tried making friends with it. To the group's surprise, the Tadhop abruptly became aggressive and far less adorable, attacking Opulent and latching onto her outstretched talon. The Guardian screamed and ran about with the feral Tadhop attached to her, Sybaritic and Pluto breaking into a fit of laughter at this. Once the Ruffletail Tadhop had calmed down, Sybaritic thought the latter was funny, challenged it, and won in a fight against the Tadhop. Afterward, Sybaritic rightfully claimed the Tadhop as his very own familiar, naming it Ceratophrys after the famously aggressive horned frogs and their genus. |
