Older, grizzled Guardian lady that happens upon Baby out in the desert, hurt and confused. When she brings her back home, she doesn't have any more answers than the Guardian does. In fact, she doesn't seem to speak at all. Still, the Guardian takes to calling her "Baby", first as a pet name, and later for a lack of anything else to call her. The Guardian nurses Baby back to health, and then tells her she can stay as long as she likes.

And stay she does. Baby feels a little bad about imposing so long, but still feels some kind of draw, feels for some strange reason that she is meant to be there. She helps the Guardian with daily tasks. The Guardian teaches her everything she knows about farming and gathering and medicines and cooking and cleaning. Is glad to have someone under her wing, someone to pass all the knowledge she's accumulated over the years to.

Must a soul be dead to need guidance? Comfort? Reassurance it won't be forgotten?

And now, she needs a name!
