Catharsis

Catharsis is a bit of an anomaly amongst the city folk. Seeing him is rare and speaking to him, even rarer. Few sightings of him have been at the archives during late hours or slinking through alleyways. The only one who can get close to him without scaring him off is Lilith. They met one night when Lilith came back to the archives to get something she'd forgotten. He wasn't there before, that wasn't really a concern though. Lilith was originally going to leave Catharsis undisturbed, but she noticed that he seemed troubled.

He was indeed troubled, very. He's been trying to find anything about where he came from, he knows it's real and that it's out there. Catharsis remembered it being an asylum. Now, he's not fond of the place at all, there's just something about the lack of records that drives him insane. Lilith could only listen to his frustrated rant, as she had never heard of this place herself, especially since she's never set foot in the scarred wasteland before. Something about his dedication resonated with her though, and she offered to help find this asylum, even if she didn't know where to start.

Catharsis is lost himself. He's not really sure why he grew up the way he did, or what his purpose in life is. His whole life has felt like an blur, a long and unpleasant blur. He's not even sure what's a real memory and what's false. This empty feeling both confuses and frightens him, but it's weirdly a motivation to keep going as well.
