Biography

Dzidris

When Dzidris begins to show traces of his mother's ability to see the stars better than others, despite no trace of them upon his hide, Oracle takes a shine to her as she protects Dzidris from Alcor's greed. Knowing that while Alcor saw no benefit in studying a child with no power, Dzidris would be a different story altogether, as his magical abilities flourish under his mother's tutelage. However, Dzidris' abilities seem to cap at a level just under half of his mother's, and the stars he is able to see with his eyes do not provide the raw power the ones in Oracle's mind do. Suddenly disinterested in Dzidris, Alcor stops his pursuit, leaving Dzidris relieved but also vaguely upset as he realises that it is his own shortcomings that have protected him.
