Found 'em by the Leviathan Trench, all shiverin' and shakin' a fit. Surprised Kelp didn't throw one when I brought 'em home - seemed quite amiable in fact! Took 'em under the hold even an' tucked 'em right in. Don't find a lot o' she-wyrms like her, but then I was never lookin' - till now that is.

Both of 'em had scratches all over. Bruises. Must 'ave come from the Wharf an' took a tumble-down. Can't be more than a couple o' hours old. The girlie's got some bite to 'er, Kelp's taken a likin' to her brother. Can't get within two flaps of 'em though, little lass ain't too trustin'. Don't blame her, me thinks they might 'ave had a run-in with those maren; must 'ave scared 'er enough te ruffle her feathers. She'll be a mean one when she's grown, but mean don't mean rotten. I like 'er enough. Think she's caught on te that. Clever girlie.
