Nyxblim

Chapter 1: Creation
Nyxblim hatched at the base of Cormac's mountain, on a clear and cloudless night. His first sight was the stars and moon, and he felt comforted by their light. He yearned to be closer, and he began to climb Cormac's mountain. He had not known who the mountain belonged to, but if he had he still would have risked incurring the wrath of a God, merely for a chance to be closer to the night sky. Cormac saw this, and was impressed. Nyxblim finally reached the peak after days of climbing, and he was rewarded by a view of the stars stretching miles to the horizon. Cormac appeared to him, and told him his dedication was a virtue. It told Nyxblim that his consistency and reliability had impressed it. Cormac entrusted Nyxblim with control over the night, and so Nyxblim forever holds domain of the moon and stars under the trust of Cormac.
