In hatchling's storybooks you might find reference to a primal dragon from seas far away, powerful as a deity and older than time. This is Leviathan. But what is myth, and what is truth?

It is not known exactly what Leviathan was -or if she even existed -but one common interpretation of Leviathan's tale is that she was created in the Second Age by combining the secrets of the depths with magic of the skies in a peculiar blue metal that had been designed to emulate the shapes carved into the Pillar. It is said in every telling that she existed to contest the mighty Behemoth, but could not be controlled. It is generally believed that she was smarter even than a dragon today.
