Biography

Rank: Inventor
Mate: Black Pearl

Hannibal is a very smart and quick witted spiral dragon who, if he could focus for a long enough time, could actually make some impressive pieces of work. However he has a very short attention span and looses interest in things if they failed to keep it. This goes for mates too. Of course having found some temporary comfort with Black Pearl the two boring several hatchlings together. Hannibal kept two, a male spiral that he named Fester after having been distracted by one of his wounds, and Wednesday, a female fairy named after the day it was-or at least he thought it was. He has no interest in his other two sons or daughter, having left their mother to either care for them or have them find their own clan. Fester and Wednesday stayed for awhile, until they accidentally broke one of their father's many experiments. Livid he sent them after their siblings to serve the Shadow Mother. Under her strict rule perhaps they would learn discipline.

Besides his name, Hannibal is distinctly known for his bloody bandages which cover various wounds over parts of his body. Stranger still is the fact that the wounds that the bandages cover up were all self inflicted. Being fickle and overly animated, he has gotten into the habit of biting at his own hide in his fits, tearing small layers away before notably eating them. The pain seems to calm him a bit but he's always twitching more than most spirals. He doesn't seem to care about pain he may accidentally or intentionally inflict on others. The only few who haven't experienced this have been Black Pearl, his two children Fester and Wednesday, and his Familiar who for better or worse, is in the same condition he's in!

He adores 'The Mother' and is never short of praise for the Shadowbinder.

It is unclear if he has eaten any other dragon flesh besides his own or prey. I don't think one would wish to find out either.

Exalting Hannibal to the service of the Shadowbinder will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
