A dragon made of stuffing, thread, and canvas, xey were certainly a shock to the clan when Cleats found xem on the border of the Nesting Grounds as a child. Never one to turn down any child in need, Cleats had no choice but to bring xem into the clan and treat xem as one of their own. Despite the confusion and disapproval from some members, Cleats made it very clear that xey were they to stay; and stay they have. Xey retain a strong bond with the dragon who rescued and protected xem in the first place and to any who were kind to xem as xey struggled with xir identity and existence. Unlike "real" pearl-catchers, xir pearl is not real, but some kind of facsimile, the likes of which no one in the clan as seen. Still, Xey have a deep feeling that this pearl is as important as any other and carries the key to finding out xir place of orgin. The pearl swirls and glows with a mysterious light...
