Deluc turns to the woman next to him. She's cold and blue, but the desert sun has keep her slightly warmer than those he usually finds are. She's been gone a long time, and it is his duty to bring her home before the worms and bugs get to her. This one is different. He knew this one. But he cannot mourn, it is not his place. So he just carries her to the light, and makes sure her ghost is at rest, as he does with all of them. He does not cry later.
He doesn't.
