Princess Reva is hopeful, perhaps naïve and idealistic.
She is aware she has been raised with a ridiculous amount of privilege and she hopes to share her good fortune when she takes the throne... She's just not sure how yet.
Reva assumes the best about everyone until given a reason to doubt them, and can be a little gullible due to her trusting nature.
She doesn't really know her father. King Resh took no interest in His progeny and was largely absent from her childhood. He was a looming idea of a person, not someone she actually knew. Queen Rashmi says she should feel grateful for the distance.
Reva adores her mother, though the warrior queen always tried to be more of a friend than a mother to Reva and her sisters. She's a little upset about her mothers' growing drinking problem, but Rashmi always shrugs off her concerns.
The princess has mixed relationships with her sisters. The eldest is clearly bitter Reva got 'her' birth-right due to Reva's resemblance to their father. Mostly Reva tries to be diplomatic and kind with her sisters - good practice for when she is Queen.
Reva's bodyguard is an older warrior and friend of Rashmi's - a feisty woman suitably-named 'Fury'. The contrast between them could not be more stark, though Reva respects Fury greatly. She can only hope Fury grows to respect her, too.
