The Rogue Royalty

Elizabeth was born a princess, plain and simple. Raised in a clan which upheld values and honor, she was taught to do her hair, to sit straight, and to curtsy. She learned the proper way to eat meals, and to the proper way to greet her king and queen.

Now this was all fine with Elizabeth. She saw no problem with the system, no immediate flaw. But she did have one little quirk as a princess- Elizabeth loved the thrill of the fight.

Even now, just looking at her, one could never have guessed her to be a warrior underneath her neatly groomed appearance. But a warrior was what Elizabeth was. She fought fiercely in battle, and defended her clan against beasts and enemies. Her bright coloration and flashy adornments would often attract enemies to her, only for the opponents to be decimated by her fighting skills.

But her original clan did not accept this. They had to protect their princess, not have their princess fight for them. "What would happen to the royal family if you were gone?" exclaimed her advisor, "It would be a shame and great loss to the entire bloodline!" Elizabeth became banned from the battlefield, stifled within her own home. Her relationship with her family soured, and she came to resent her passive role as princess.

After several intolerable months, Elizabeth went rogue. She ran away from home, from her clan. She traveled far and wide in an attempt to find somewhere to give herself a fresh start as a warrior.

Thus, she met the clan of Fallen Stars. She had originally meant to rest before continuing on her journey, but that rest was enough for her to realize that she had found herself a new home. They accepted her both as a princess and a warrior, and granted her into their clan. Their princes had come home.
