Twilight

Twilight guards the ancient scrolls and texts of the clan libraries in a golden dome surrounded by sweet-smelling flowers. This meadow is a clearing in the Starwood Strand. Once you enter the dome from the glen, you are greeted with the smell of old books and a musky, sweet smell like that of burning candles. A few dragons perch nearby reading various texts. The halls are lit with candlelight gently flickering, and the shelves reach the very heights of the dome. Scattered in betwixt the shelves are perches made of the most durable and ancient hardwood to hold even the sturdiest dragon’s weight. In lieu of desks and carrels, the perches will have to do, along with enchanted book stands for those wyverns who cannot turn the pages as easily while aloof.

Twilight peers at you with not a little suspicion. “Well, go on - shall you enter and read our pages or not?”

He looks over at Astra, bemused, as if to say “Bah. Tourists.”

A list of titles greets you as you browse.

There is a rather well-worn and beloved volume with a gilded cover that reads, "The Tale of Merlin."

There are not many books that call your attention at the moment. Maybe return to the library another time?
