“You will find warriors in every flight. Yet some of the best come from the Labyrinth. Like here in the wasteland where we fight unseen enemies with every breath, they must fight the known as well as the unknown for their very existence. You remember the fear. It hangs heavy in the air, and the screams of the weak haunt the darkness.” War. War is all Notna remembers. His birth clan was nomadic, however the term “bandits” actually fits them better. The would circle their way around the edge of the scarred wasteland, attacking clans unfortunate enough to come into contact with them. Notna was always fascinated with the raids, but more importantly he was interested in the warriors that attempted but always ultimately failed to protect their clans. He had known for a long time that he was going to be a warrior, however, he feared failing his clan as he had seen those other warriors do. Before he was fully grown, he was sent to the labyrinth and told that if he could survive on his own for an unspecified amount of time, he would be allowed back. They said they would send for him, but they never did.
