ABOUT.
Wicker does not succumb to the hunger like some of his siblings do. A permanent void replaces the instinct--a different sort of hunger altogether.

His foreleg was maimed when Wicker and his siblings tried to murder his youngest sister, the runt of the clutch. That evidently... didn't work out, and Wicker now walks with a permanent limp.

As for this different hunger, he soon realised that only adrenaline could whet his appetite. Now, he chases legends of lost cities and buried treasure, letting the whiff of adventure take him to far flung lands. He's lost a couple partners along the way to death traps, crumbling infrastructure, and other general treasure-hunting-related hazards. Wicker's been lucky so far; treasure hunting isn't for the risk-averse.

And still, he would rather take the chance than starve.

IMPRESSIONS.
Well-built, sharp-eyed. Has a slant to his smile that makes people either identify him as a charmer or as trouble. Usually both. And they're usually right.

PAST.
Children of the endless hunger and the eternal fast often have appetites that far exceed what is expected of their slender frames and gaunt faces.

Those who are not cursed with a bottomless pit for a stomach are the lucky ones, though they learn very quickly that they cannot trust their own siblings to keep their mouths shut and their hunger abated. Fortunately, all become very efficient hunters, if not for necessity then for self-preservation.

Even with the precautions and measures their parents take-- well. Instinct is a fickle creature. Hunger is an unpredictable one.

There are no surviving runts borne of the union between Charion and Alderrim. They have never lived to maturity.
