Samhain

Samhain was born on the first All Hallow's Eve of her clan, a lucky child from a single egg nest. Her mother was an ancient avatar of flame, and her father a rat-catching plague-cat. The Gladekeeper gifted her with the essence of the season. Leaves, flowers, decay, candles and magic. She is a chilly day at the turning of the seasons.

Lately as the wind turns cold once more, Samhain has turned her mind towards joining the tree dragons in the woods, as she feels herself becoming a mighty oak. Her cold earthy body is turning to bark, frost-turned leaves grow on her wings and in her mane, and the drifting smoke from the bonfires marks her. One day in the far future she may become a sentient leaf pile.




The White Rot Deer is her steadfast familiar, but there were many others who wanted to join Samhain in the autumn forest. She's found she has a beastly coven!
